2018 Blackberries

Nice, been fighting wild berries.

I ended up with 22 pounds of blackberries. I really thought I would get closer to 40 pounds this year, but for some reason they came on strong but only really produced for about 2 weeks. I also noticed that the local farmers market never any blackberries for sale this year...maybe weather related.

Anyway, making wine today.(also making blueberry wine from locally grown berries)

Your berries look fantastic. My wife loves blackberries and raspberries. She has been planting them anywhere we had room and they grew like crazy. This winter we are going to move the plants and replant them in a row so we can erect a terris to keep them off the ground. Just hope they survive the replanting.

I think blackberry plants would survive most nuclear attacks.
