Looks good but with my luck I would shoot and hit one of the metal leg supports for the powerline.

Most of the windows are clear of them but we do have to be careful out of a couple of them.

I would hazard a guess that when they do the routine air survey they come have somebody move it, bet it wasn't easy to put up much less move , looks like a great spot though

I couldn’t stand that constant hum you hear from those lines. What stand is that cheaper one on the right?

TVA may not say anything but that is a no no for their power system. Looks great to me. :)
ON second thought it may be very dangerious to someone if lightling hit the line.

When I was a teen (read young and foolish), we would climb those towers, not way up, but enough, and hoist up 2x12s and put them in the corners to sit on and hunt.

I remember that humming...kinda unnerving.

We have had stands under that tower for over 6 years. We had a quad pod under it when they repainted and did routine maintenance on it and nobody said a word.

Yea, we have had stands under that same tower for around 6 years, they have even repainted and done routine maintenance on it over that time and never said a word.

Nice....will be real nice on those wet and windy days.

Tva towers pass through my farm as well. I have a tripod on the edge of their easement. I thought about putting it under transformer. I can hear a low and distinct hum from the wires

Heck yea should be fun to hunt. Get yourself a Mr Heater and enjoy a nice cold morning in a toasty blind. Snow coming down would be a plus.

There's a cell tower up at royal blue, was headed back to the truck 1 day and noticed 2 guys up in it. its fenced off and reckon the guys work for the tower company lol . No idea if they shot any thing out of it but 60-80' up I'm sure they had a great view
