Morning Shooters

Well one of my goals this years is to kill and p & y velvet buck and I feel like I have a good shot with that goal. After spreading the cameras out trying to narrow down a contender, I've settled that the bucks like to move more in the mornings in a particular area. If I get the ene wind they're calling for next Friday morning, i think I can go in around 3 am and accomplish that goal. Pull the cam cards today and located two contenders on the cam visiting nearly every day since August 1 mainly coming back to bed out of the beans.

I'd say your chances are as good as ever bud...I also am going to try an early morning ambush on my target for the velvet hunt. I know it goes against traditional thinking but if the deer is dictating an early morning strike then you gotta get after him...good luck!!!

REAL close, but not quite. Still a shooter, and a dead deer if he keeps being so predictable.

135" in velvet would be my guess. Good luck with him.

Gonna try to kill one in the morning lightning storms have prevented me from hunting this set two mornings in a row.

I'd say you have a good chance at your goal , great looking bucks . Hope you get a chance at one .
