Doing an upside down Tomato again this year with Rosemary planted on top. I did them about 10 years ago in Alabama.

I tried one of those Topsy Turvy hanging planters and could never quite get them to work for me. I see a bunch of people, in videos and articles, getting it right so it must have been me. Keep us updated to see how it turns out for you.

I did a topsy turn thing and planted cherry tomatoes in it. Good grief it worked extremely well. I've seen people do them upside down in 5 gallon buckets. I like your approach much more

Oh they work , you have to be careful ahead of time and anticipate that the container and everything is probably going to weigh about 40 lb when it's full of soil to plant and when you water it
