WTB: Warren & Sweat Tree Stand

Postby smyrnagc » Mon Jan 14, 2019 1:18 pm

I am looking for one of the old Warren Sweat blade tree stands for a project. Looking for one of the models with the seat that moves from front (for sit and climb) to rear. Not the model that had the back rest, just the seat.

Anyone got one you'd let go?

Thanks

Ahhhh.... the good old Warren & Sweat Cottonwood. 8-)

I lugged one of those beasts around for several years.
One of the bulkiest things I ever had in my life.
Solid as a rock and twice as heavy is what I used to tell my hunting buddies.

I take it back, it was the W&S Rifleman I had.
Heavy as a mutha.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the Cottonwood. What I am looking for is the smaller aluminum model. Here is a picture of it:

I have a Cottonwood. The seat back can be easily removed. It only has 2 bolts and a cable that holds it on. I would entertain an offer.

Not sure its the one you are looking for but saw it on Facebook Marketplace. I believe its in Mt Juliet. Search "Warren and Sweat" to find it.
