Not the highest scoring deer but probably one of the biggest bodied whitetail I've see from TN. Didn't have a way to weigh it so know idea how much he actually weighed. Killed by my daughter when she was 11.

I remembered reading about this buck somewhere, maybe your group's annual trip to west TN? Regardless, a beautiful buck, big congrats to you. Thanks for sharing.

Not sure...one of these two. The velvet pics are the same deer.

The top buck is a hoss!

I had some history with him. Passed him up twice as a 3.5, got a few pics of him at 4.5, then he disappeared for 2 years. He showed back up out of thin air as a 7.5 and was on just about every camera we had out. He even bedded less than 150 yards from our cabin laying in one of my mock scrapes while we were watching football games one night. I killed him on accident, really. I couldn't find my stand in the dark that I had hung a year prior, decided to walk down to the end of the point about 75 yards and sit on the ground (which I hate to do). We came face to face shortly after 8am and was lucky to get a shot off
