Haven't seen any activity on this posting. Wondering if anyone is doing any trapping and having any luck.

I've got 2 of them set in the back field. I caught a Tomcat last week, I use rubber-jawed traps, so I released him and he's ok. Other than that, I've not caught anything lately.

I’ve caught 8 there in those 2 locations in the past 2 weeks . It’s a highway to a feed lot a 1/4 of a mile down the road. I’m probably going to pull them this week and start trapping beaver ,one of the males was rubbed real bad today.

Their guard hairs are breaking off or falling out making them not look as pretty for todays fashions. They still have alot of fur just alot less guard hairs (the long ones). Which coincides with mating season.
