Looking for lease 2019-2020

Postby gobblesandgrunts » Tue Dec 25, 2018 12:52 pm

We are in search of a deer hunting lease for next year. We’ve been looking the past few years and nothing has panned out. Looking in ky, within 2 1/2-3 hours of Nashville. It would be 3 of us on the lease. Myself, my father in law, and one of our best friends. I would also start to bring my son who will be 6 a few times next year. And plan to bring them hunting in the future. We are all responsible hunters, we will take care of the property, food plots, etc. as long as land owner will be ok with that. Would like to sit down and discuss long term deal. We have references from our last lease. Unfortunately the guy we leased from for 8 years needed to sell some of his property. Never had a problem with him and always strive to work together with the landowner. Please let me know if you have some land available and if this sounds like something your interested in. Thank you

Lease prices are very high in this area and the hunting is very commercialized. However just a little further east the prices are much more reasonable and if you can find a map of trophy deer harvested in KY you see western KY is longer king.
Less pressure in other parts of the state allows the bucks to reach full potential.
Big Satt usually comes up with some good properties in the Allen Co area.
Good luck.
