6 miles today - under 10 minutes per. Will do 70 pushups before bed time...resting my legs right now. I think I have done 18 miles this week.

Walked part of the hunting lease. Marking my stand locations on the onx app. Did some dumbbell exercises. Just an fyi I had a tick on me today.

I'm back at it after taking a week off. Ran 4 miles. The pace indicated is not what I really ran. I stopped and helped a kid on the greenway who's back tire had popped off his bike. I really didn't feel like running but I'm glad I made myself do it. Going to eat some leftover deer shank with carrots and a baked potato smothered in butter and shank juice. May even have a leftover Highland Gaelic Ale that my wife got me for my bday. Well, there's no "may" involved, it's already opened. After that, I'm going to watch some hunting vids on Youtube. Randy Newberg just released the first of 7 day by day videos of his coues bowhunt. I've got just under a year to figure those little buggers out.

I was kind of wondering if they might be out with the warm weather. I might just spray down some of my hiking pants to stay on the safe side.

5 burpees. I decided to shoot my bow this evening instead of working out. I've got 2 western bowhunts over the next 12 months and both will require my shooting to be lights out. Image

The past 2 days have been fairly low key. I pulled something in my back. Hurts to bend over. So I've mainly walked. Tonight will be gym night, light cardio followed by light weight, high reps exercises so I do not aggravate the back further. Gonna stretch some as well.

Today might have been my best 100 burpee time; 9:11:62mins with 14.5 hours fasted.

I wasn’t even super motivated either, I think it has a lot to do with me narrowing down my needed carbs on top of increasing my weight training. Specifically thrusters, bench and backsquats. All of which strengthen core and should assist with related endurance.

Gotta keep up with Buzz this fall

Still having some back pain when I bend over. But I am still able to walk and run without any discomfort. Ran a mile, walked a mile this morning. This evening I am going to try to do some stretching, core exercises, short hiit session. 50 pushups. I am trying to get to 100 pushups per day one off workout days.

Saturday was a full body workout and 3 miles on the elliptical. Today was hitt training 2.75 miles, 60 pushups.

The scales didn't move this past week. I'm a bit confused by that, but so is life. I did more cardio and hitt workouts than any of the previous weeks. I'm going to weigh in the morning again just to see if I'm holding water, or if the readout is consistent. Today is an off day from the gym as well, so 60 more pushups and hitt.

Just a simple 3 miles tonight. I'm not sure what direction I feel like taking with my fitness right now. I enjoy running and probably always will. But, I really only do this stuff so I can be the best I can with the activities in my life that really mean the most to me. I've got some really cool hunts that I'd like to do over the next couple years, and think it may be better to just maintain some cardio and do a little more strength training. We'll see, but right now, I'm not very motivated to run other than my weekend trail runs.Image

Full body work the first three days of this week then about 15 miles a day walking through the swamps in Georgia looking for piggies!

Yesterday I walked 3.5 miles did a full body workout. Today will mainly be 30 minutes of walking, core exercises, and 65 pushups. I am working my way to 100 per day. One day I'll get sit ups to 100/day as well.

Man that is awesome stuff!

Congrats!!!

I workout 5-7 days a week but with my diet and drinking habits I will never get to 170. I have however stayed under 190 for several years now and under 180 for a long time also. I have been up to 230 a few times and I’m not going back!!
