Met him at the Vous get together on a friday nite and we talked along while, it was as we knew each other for a long period of time. It was easy to tell he was a family man, and that he loved huntin, just a top notch fella.

Nice thing ya'll did here Ruger, good job.

Thanks for this memorial section. What a great idea. I am a regular on tndeer, and I had no idea that some of these fellows had passed away. They have been a blessing to me on here over the years.

A fine man among men.Although I don't get to see him much these years,I admire his protege quite a lot.I think he knows how large those shoes are to fill....

I remember this pic. That is me sitting in the chair holding a bottle of water. Jeff, Nimrod and I shared a room that night at the Vous. Great guy.

A pic from the TNDeer Chili Cookoff in '09, held at a church in Chattanooga. NBForrest on the far left with the first place, 3-candle chili. Another of TNDeer's great losses, Whelen Man, on the right with his third place trophy.

I remember going to his viewing at ralph buckner. I walked in and saw him and couldn't go any farther. I didn't know him as well as a lot of people did but jeff was a great guy and at my expense, a lot of practical jokes at my employer. I miss jeff a lot. I see people from time to time that look similar to him and have to take a second glance only to find out its not my buddy jeff...
