Hey tickweed.... snowgoose....

I may have dreamed it but I seem to remember you saying one time you either guided or helped guide people on snowgoose conservation hunts in MO one time?

A few of the guys that went to Reelfoot the last couple years have expressed interest in going on one of these hunts.
Just wondered if you would share some details on them?
Pffft forget that, I'm going fishing.

I would say one of the latter two as I don't think anyone has any decoys. :D

Used to do this every year on our own. Nothing like sneaking up within 20-30 yards of 20,000 geese. Chasing cripples in waders is no joke.

Depending on time frame and cost, this looks like something I might could get into.

Do they still have these post season hunts in Ark with no limits and no license needed?

All states around us including TN have a snow goose conservation season. TN and AR the permit is free MO it is $40 best I remember.

The way I understand it is "they recognize any state license". That leads me to believe that as long as you have a hunting license in any state, you can hunt Arkansas during the conservation hunt. I actually talked to a guide a few days ago and you are required a free "light goose permit number" which can be picked up online.

Yep, a valid hunting license from any state, and a free light goose conservation permit number that you get online at https://www.agfc.com/en/hunting/migrato ... ion-order/
