What age do youth need hunters safety

What age does a youth that has a lifetime hunting license half to complete the hunters safety course? Also is there field days normally all over the state reason I'm asking is there are not any listed in east Tn. Thanks

Also if he was to attend a classroom safety course does he still half to take the field day there is one in January that is Monday through Saturday excluding Wednesday

Yes. The field day is for them to demonstrate safe handling of the firearm. The field day is offered by itself since there is an online option to take the class now as well.
