In response to the food plot

Postby JBell » Thu Jul 11, 2019 4:44 pm

I have some corn planted. If I mow some of it down to hunt the middle of it, is that legal? I’ve always been inter the impression if you alter it, it was illegal. Would love to know. Thanks for your time

It depends on what you are hunting.

If you are hunting waterfowl, what you describe would be baiting and would be illegal. For all other game species in TN, including doves, it would be legal to hunt.
