Mud walk was worth it..

Postby dg7080 » Fri May 12, 2017 4:17 pm

Had a super rain around here last night.. Went out first thing this morning and slugged around in the mud for over 3 hours.. Found 20+ broken points (a couple are about 95%), some scrapers and some fragments of points. The plow over the years is just not too kind to these pretty rocks!

There is a black dirt mound here by the house that used to get plowed. I found 23 perfect points there one morning back in 83. They were all woodland, but I still got a thrill from having my satchel bag full of relics.

Congrats on all the finds
