We put wheels on many a ladder stand that we set on Indiana F&W areas where there was no vehicle access allowed. And you may want to set a stand a half mile away from a parking area. Had mowed fire lanes you could travel on but by foot only. That's a lot nicer than the ones we built. Only looks to be about 8 foot tall tho. We built ones 12 to 14 foot tall.

Edit 9 foot tall, bet that's to the top of the seat back. Like most ladder stands are measured to the top of the shooting rail.

I can’t find them to whom I sold the stand? I do know that I sold my millennium T 100 tripod to muddy boots in Savannah… You may have bought both.

The hawk Stand is good in an overgrown field, etc. and the wheels make it easy to get there, but that Stand weighs 70 pounds or more. T 100 weighs probably less than 40 pounds and is much more portable.… Plus it sits higher and swivels. You could remove the swivel seat and take it with you or pull it up into a tree and lock it to make it less desirable for theft.

I would like to have that T 100 back and still trying to figure out how to buy it for the same discounted price I did before through Cabela’s befote state sales tax was not an issue.

I just don’t like heights and climbing trees including ladder stands… But I kill lots of deer on the ground so it’s not been an issue.

I hunt mainly from the ground, but 9 feet would be good in some spots where I hunt.

Wonder how stable it is on unlevel ground ? My luck one leg would sink and a dump me to the ground. If I can turn over a chair blind on level ground when one side sank I am sure I could turn that thing over. Learn to carry some 12x12 3/4 plywood sections to place under the chairblind legs after doing that. I sit in that thing half hour before it sank and bet I had a WTH look on my face as I was going down.. :rotf: :o

I bought it. It’s a nice set up to get into tough spots with the wheels.
