Polaris Dealer Recommendation

Pretty much anything you want to talk about!

Polaris Dealer Recommendation

Postby TN Larry » Fri Jul 12, 2019 7:42 pm

I'm looking to buy a 570 Ranger full size. I spent this afternoon calling several dealers for prices. Do you know of any that I should definitely call? I'm willing to travel for the right deal. The best two deals right now are 4 hrs away in AL and 2 hrs away in KY. I'm hoping to get my local dealer close to those prices.
I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast, I then most humbly pray: When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep that in His mercy I be judged big enough to keep.

Did you call Abernathy’s in Union City?

Abernathy’s is where I would go it’s where I bought mine. I also bought a ace 150 from Polaris of Benton which is now Powersports of America. Just like Abernathy’s better since you won’t be getting service at the dealer don’t think either will matter. Be prepared they will want you to buy an extended warranty they must get a good kickback on them because they push them

I bought a 570 ranger from them 3 years ago. They were the cheapest I could find and good to deal with.

Abernathy's and Pro X are on my list to call today. I called Shoals in AL yesterday. I think I found a used one last night that I'm going to buy. It has under 100 miles and bought for a lady. That wasn't my plan as you definitely don't know how some have been treated, but the price is right on this one. We will see though. The only problem is that it is 5 hours ways.

Well, Pro X makes the most sense as they are closer than Abernathy's and within $100. Just got to decide on a new one or used one in new condition for $2k less. New one is 2 hrs away and uses one is 5 hrs away. Thoughts?

i second this! 2000 dollars is a hefty savings for less than 100 miles on one. Test drive the heck out of it and make sure everything feels/sounds right

My first experience with them was a flat on a street bike.
Take the rear wheel off, replace the tube and put it back on. $225.00
I raised cane till they lowered it to half that but would only refund me via gift cards to their store.
This was on a brand new bike, bought from them two days prior.
Second experience was an overhaul on a 3 month old four wheeler, again purchased from them.
$1,200 and three weeks later we got it back only to have it overheating.
Air filter box was completely full of mud. Engine overhaul and didn’t even check the air filter? Really?
I have several other stories but those are my own personal ones.
