Got mine yesterday, I had already forgotten about them...

Mup, it looks like they came out of Texas, it’ll take the pony express another day or two to reach the East side of the State!

Now to get them open without cutting myself...

Well, we are still piping sunshine in over here, so I'll give them a couple more days. ;)

Well, the wife just texted me that I had a message on the answering machine that was about a pkg from FedEx that don't deliver to PO boxes....I guess that's it.

:bash:

Hopefully you can call them and come up with another option or just go pick them up.

LOL I can't win for losing. FedEx said the shipper had requested that the item be returned to them, and it's already enroute back to them. :bash:

I used a pair of those yesterday evening at my buddy’s house.
Almost brought me to tears hearing all the birds and stuff.
Been years since I have heard the sounds I heard.
I’m gonna buy me some for sure.

How far have they came from the earlier models? I had a pair of their quad muffs, with the 4 microphones to help aid in being able to tell what direction the sound was coming from.

I didn't like mine all that much...when the sound amplification was turned on, you could hear a buzzing/humming like sound out of them. They were hot to wear, and I still couldn't tell whether the sounds were coming from behind or in front, or from which side.

I still have them but I only wear them for rifle shooting now. The batteries for the sound amplification have long been taken out.

I was just curious if the newer versions are any better. It's been 20 years since they made the pair I had. Looks like you can get the Razor Slims for fairly reasonable prices on eBay...much cheaper than the pair I bought 20 years ago. I think I gave $200 for those.

I could wrong, but I believe their purpose for a person with normal hearing is for normal conversation while shooting. I do put them on kids just before they shoot deer when possible.

Another topic...but I recently bought a syringe at CVS to wash my ears out with warm water every few months. People can get ear plugs simply from wax buildup and my hearing in my right ear has vastly improved!
