Crossbow Help

Postby Rakkin6 » Fri Jun 29, 2018 5:03 pm

Looking to buy my first crossbow, I have been deer hunting for about 25 years and vertical bow hunting for about 7 years but starting to experience some shoulder issues. Just wondering if there is anyone in the Clarksville/Montgomery county area willing to give me some pointers. Possibly go to the range before I buy one. I am looking at getting the new Tenpoint Stealth NXT Acu-Draw. (Any thoughts on this X-Bow would be appreciated) I have not seen to many negative reviews on Tenpoint but also do not know anyone personally who owns one. Thanks for all the help guys and gals

If you have a Bass Pro close by you can shoot bows there, maybe Cableas too. Lets you try out some before the purchase or just go handle a bunch of xbows at one location. I have an Excalibur 355 really like it.

Herndon Archery Herndon Ky about 20 miles north of Clarksville. Steve has several new and a couple used xbows and will be happy to help you. 20 yards inside and maybe 70 yards outside.

I know this is probably too late. Nevertheless, I bought the Ten Point Stealth NXT and I'm not disappointed. I love it.

Whitaker’s Guns has the stealth and the shadow and also Ravin, go shot them all. Best price around too.
I’d be glad to help you out we are not far from each other.
