He has been cleared to play by the NCAA! Huge news for the Vols.

Hopefully he can defend the post, but just having another big will be a plus.

If he has skills, the team could make some noise, especially if Bowden can get rid of that monkey he's carrying around.

What is up with Bowden? He has looked terrible most of the season.

It's between the ears.

Not sure if its the pressure of being "the guy", or maybe it's a factor of James coming in and not wanting to have to relinquish to the supposed 5-star (that's another head scratcher).

Hopefully he can shoot his way out of it, but Barnes alluded in the press conference after last game, that he may not start him going forward. He was pretty harsh toward him. Hopefully Bowden will respond similarly to JG having his facemask grabbed and humiliated on national TV :D !

Personally, I think Bowden and Turner do much better coming off the bench. Maybe the public shaming will help, then again, if he is a fruit basket then it might do more harm than good.

Defense was horrible. I mean terrible. 6 of 26 from 3 point range. I would tell them from now on nobody shoots a 3 but James. There is plenty talent on the team, but they are young and have a long way to go. It's going to be a long year I'm afraid. But I'll still be watching! GBO!

Had the game recorded, but once got behind by double digits I skipped ahead 5 minutes at a time to see if we ever hit a spurt. We didn't.

From what little I saw, Uros might actually be able to help us. Looked like he's used to shooting that hook shot, but was off probably because of first game jitters etc.

If I were Barnes I'd make a rule that no one shoots until Fulkerson has had one touch in the post on the possession. While he did kick out a few times we still couldn't hit the open 3.

Maybe we can make the NIT.
